Looking for a split unit air conditioner that can cool, ventilate and dehumidify your caravan or motorhome? Then the Mestic split unit air conditioner SPA-3000, with 895 W of power, may be for you. Easy to install yourself thanks to the infinitely adjustable brackets.
Environmentally friendly refrigerant
Keep your caravan or motor home wonderfully cool with the Mestic split unit air conditioner SPA-3000. The innovative split unit air conditioner consists of two parts that are connected by flexible tubes through the window. These tubes are so thin that the window can be closed ajar. A ridge window lends itself perfectly to this. The condenser is located on the outside of the vehicle and the evaporator on the inside. You simply hang the split unit air conditioner in the window opening with a special bracket. This bracket is infinitely adjustable and therefore suitable for almost all caravans and motorhomes. The outdoor unit of this caravan air conditioner has insulation class IPX4. This means that you can safely leave the unit hanging outside during a rainstorm. Do you temporarily not need the air conditioner? Then you can easily remove it again.
The refrigerant used in this air conditioner is the very environmentally friendly and efficient R290 gas. This gas has a GWP (Global Warming Potential) of only 3, which is significantly lower than other refrigerants.

The table above gives you the key technical details at a glance.
Below is a quick guide to what each spec actually means when you’re out on the road,
so you can decide whether this unit is the right fit for your vehicle and camping style.
Cooling capacity (W / BTU)
This is the raw cooling power of the unit.
Higher watts or BTU ratings mean the air conditioner can cope better with larger
interiors, strong sun and hotter climates.
If you travel in southern Europe or park in direct sunlight, prioritise a higher
cooling capacity for faster, more consistent comfort.
Vehicle & interior size
This tells you the size of caravan, motorhome or interior space the unit is designed
to handle. If your living area is larger than the stated guide, the unit will still
cool, but it may take longer to reach and maintain your ideal temperature – especially
in very warm weather or open-plan layouts.
Heating power
Many roof air conditioners also provide heating.
This rating shows how much warmth the unit can deliver when used as a heater.
It’s ideal if you travel in shoulder seasons or through colder nights and want one
compact unit to handle both summer cooling and autumn or spring heating.
Remote control
A remote makes day-to-day use much easier: you can adjust temperature, fan speed and
mode without getting up, which is especially handy at night or when the unit is
mounted high in the ceiling.
Airflow & direction
Airflow describes how the cooled air is distributed through your living space.
Directional vents or adjustable louvers let you point the air where you need it most –
towards the seating area in the day or the sleeping area at night – for more
comfortable, efficient cooling.
