Solar panel Foldable MSFO-150

Our new foldable solar panel is perfect for wildlife camping and day trips. As the name suggests, the solar panel is compactly foldable and can be stored in a handy carry bag. This allows you to take the Mestic Solar Panel Foldable MSFO-150 with you wherever you go.

High energy yield through PERC technology

The Mestic Solar panel Foldable MSFO-150 has an output of 150 W. For maximum sun coverage, position the folding panel at a 35° angle. The panel comes with a stand that allows you to easily position it at this angle. The solar panel features monocrystalline PERC solar cells. These cells produce more energy than standard solar cells. The technology improves the reflection of sunlight so that more sunlight is converted into energy. The solar panel features 144 solar cells and has a high efficiency. The durable construction allows the solar panel to perform well even in harsh conditions. This makes it perfect for an off-grid camping holiday.

  • Made of high-quality PERC solar cells
  • Foldable and compact
  • Power: 150 W
  • Solar cells: 144
  • Dimensions unfolded: 173 x 54 x 2.5 cm
  • Dimensions folded: 54 x 39 x 5 cm

Foldable and compact solar panel

Mestic's compact folding solar panel, weighing 5.2 kg, easily unfolds and places wherever you want. Combine it with a power station and you can immediately use your self-generated energy. Don't forget to buy the MC4 cable kit, which connects the panel directly to the power station. With these two items, you will never be left with an empty phone during a camping holiday. When folded, the panel measures just 54 x 39 x 5 cm , making it easy to store in the motorhome, caravan or even in the tent.

With the Solar Panel Foldable MSFO-150, you generate your own renewable energy. Thanks to the stand on the back of the solar panel, you set the panel at a 35° angle for maximum sun coverage. Combined with a power station, you can use the generated energy directly for your electrical appliances.

Why choose this panel?

• Powerful 150W folding design that delivers strong off-grid charging in a portable format.
• Built-in adjustable stand allows you to angle the panel towards the sun for maximum efficiency.
• Easy to move around the pitch which helps you follow the sun throughout the day.
• Folds into a compact size that is simple to store in caravans, campervans and motorhomes.

What this panel is best for

The MSFO-150 is ideal for campers who want a higher output portable panel without committing to a fixed installation. It provides reliable power for lighting, pumps, fans, cool boxes and device charging during off-grid trips and touring holidays.

Good to know

• Always pair the panel with a suitable 12V solar charge controller to protect your leisure battery.
• Compatible with AGM, Gel and Lithium batteries when the correct controller settings are used.
• For best results, place the panel in direct sunlight and adjust the stand angle to maintain strong performance throughout the day.

What these solar panel specs mean for you

Below is a quick guide to what each of these figures means in day-to-day use, so you can judge whether this panel will comfortably support the way you camp.

Max power (W)

This is the peak wattage the panel can produce in strong sunlight. A higher watt rating means more total energy over the course of the day, so it’s easier to keep leisure batteries topped up when you’re running cool boxes, pumps, lighting and multiple USB devices.

If you spend several nights off-grid or rely heavily on 12 V appliances, prioritise panels with higher wattage for more reliable daily charging.

Max current (A)

Max current is the highest charging current the panel can deliver through a suitable solar charge controller. The higher the amps, the faster your leisure battery can recover after use, especially during shorter daylight windows.

This is particularly important for campers who arrive late on site, use a lot of power in the evening or run Lithium batteries that can safely accept faster charging.

Max voltage (V)

Max voltage shows the panel’s operating voltage under load. Higher voltage helps reduce losses over longer cable runs – for example on larger motorhomes or roof-rack installations where the panel is some distance from the charge controller.

It also gives you a bit more headroom in cooler or cloudier conditions when panel voltage naturally dips, helping the controller stay within its ideal working range.

How this affects your set-up

Together, these three values give a good picture of real-world performance: max power tells you how much energy the panel can produce in a day, max current shows how quickly it can recharge your battery, and max voltage indicates how efficiently it will deliver that power through your wiring.

If you mostly stay on hook-up or only trickle-charge a battery between trips, a lower output panel may be perfectly adequate. If you regularly camp off-grid, run several 12 V appliances or depend on solar as your main charging source, choosing higher outputs in all three areas will provide noticeably stronger, more dependable performance.
